How to shoot
Place
- A plain, light wall with no pictures or furniture
- Be alone in the frame
- Stand a step away from the wall so your shadow misses it
Light
- Face a window in daytime, with the light on your face
- Avoid direct sun, especially around midday
- Don't have a window or lamp behind you
Look
- Plain clothes without logos, comfortable and fitted
- No sunglasses or hats, and very light make-up
- If you usually wear a ghutra or hijab, shoot as you would work
Phone
- Rear camera, held upright
- At eye level; at waist level for body shots
- Turn off filters, beauty mode and Portrait: we want you as you are
